Super Sailor Moon Crisis Doll by Bandai!

So, awhile back, I won an auction for a used Super Sailor Moon doll by Bandai Japan. This doll is the "Crisis" version of Sailor Moon - basically, they took the butterfly wings motif at the end of her transformation, and they put it on a doll. The wings are removable, but they look quite pretty on the doll!

This the doll right after I removed her from the delivery box! The seller packed her really, really well - with pink bubble wrap! The seller also included a small Sailor Moon figure and paper crane, which are really cute. When I won the lot (or, rather, bidding I should say), I also noticed the pink wand - I figured it was one of Chibi Moon's wands. I'll get to that at the end, though.

I'm not 100% sure where the figure is from, but I think it's from a candy toy released in Japan; from my understanding, a lot of candy toys had small figures like these ones, larger painted ones, compacts, and there was even a set that had pieces to build a small Moon Castle with!

Sailor Moon's hair was a bit of a tangled mess, so I went and have her a nice clean to untangle her hair as much as I could. Unfortunately, I did get it as clean as I wanted (there is decent bit of broken hair/frizz on her), but I figured that'd probably happen. All well, she's still super pretty!

I couldn't get a picture of her that I liked by herself, so here I have her with another Bandai Japan doll I own! I think they might be the same doll, actually; they look identical to me, anyways. I got the other doll naked and dressed her up in a Super Sailor Moon Irwin 2000 outfit I had!

Oh, as for the extra wand?

Well, I think it might actually be from a Chibi Moon Petit Solider or some other kind of figure like that. My Chibi Moon didn't have a wand though, so I think it suits her just fine!

For future posts, I might go over dolls I bought before making this blog. I do have some dolls that should be coming in the mail though, so once I get those, I'll probably talk about them too!
