Chibi Moon Doll Hell

Or, if you're like me and actually like Sailor Chibi Moon, it's actually quite nice!

I recently bought several Sailor Chibi Moon dolls. The first one is a Super Sailor Chibi Moon doll by Bandai Asia. As for the other three, I have no idea - Bandai Japan, Bandai Europe, and Bandai Asia* (I assume?) I believe all produced that doll - their markings are all the same as well. I know the Italian company Giochi Preziosi also produced a look-alike doll as well in the "Chibi Moon and Pegasus set." As for the last one having the same kind of markings as these dolls, I have no idea, since I don't own that set! Anyways, I noticed the doll in the middle had the same hair quantity as the Bandai Asia doll when I was brushing it out, so I think she might be a Bandai Japan doll. The two other dolls (or, doll and head I guess) I bought from Europe, so I think I can safely assume they're the Bandai Europe release, and if there is any difference, the thicker/thinner hair might be it. Or, it could simply be a manufacturer difference between batches - I honestly have no idea, but it doesn't really effect the quality of the doll (and the naked Chibi Moon has a brightest pink hair out of the lot, too!)

Unfortunately, this doll doesn't have a body. Or rather, she does - but it's pretty damaged. I got this doll from Spain, and it turns out when I got her, one of her boots wouldn't come off. When I did finally get it off, however, it turns out that her foot and her leg were in two different pieces and were superglued together. The superglue must have leaked out, covered the leg, and sealed the leg and the boot together. In theory I could have kept the boot on and everything would have been fine... unfortunately, the boot was at an angle, so it looked really weird.

So, right now, I need to get her a body! I still have her old one and I've considered getting maybe some clay and fusing the foot and body together for the meantime, but eventually I'll probably get an obitsu body for her.

What do you mean this qualifies hardly as "Chibi Moon Doll Hell"? Well...

...Does this change anything?

Okay, not really all of the Chibi Moon and Black/Wicked Lady dolls I have, but it's most of them. (I also have the 6" old Irwin Mini Moon & Wicked Lady dolls that are not pictured, along with a really well-loved old Irwin Mini Moon)

(The other dolls pictured are the Irwin 2000 Wicked Lady, Irwin 2000 Mini Moon, and the older Mini Moon and Wicked Lady Irwin dolls)

Oh, and for fun -

Super Sailor Chibi Moon and the Twinkle Bell Pegasus Figure by Bandai Japan!

(totally forgot to give her the headband in the group shots, whoops!)
